EDITORIAL POLICY

«The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University». Series «Mathematics» is a peer reviewed journal and publishes high-quality original research articles in mathematics with a strong focus on integro-differential equations and functional analysis, optimization and control theory, algebraic and logical methods in computer science, and artificial intelligence. Historically, these are the major areas of interest for the researchers at the Irkutsk State University, as well as our Russian and international partners. The journal aims to connect researchers in the region to one another and to the international scientific community. We publish full-length original articles, reviews, and short scientific articles in English and Russian. All articles are published open access in order to improve their global dissemination, while allowing authors to retain the copyright to their work. The journal is indexed in various citation databases and databases for mathematics like Zentralblatt and AMS MathSciNet.

The articles are accepted in Russian and in English.

The manuscripts submitted for publication should meet the following requirements: topicality of the research area, research scientific novelty, originality of the research issues and applied research methods, high scientific and practical significance of the obtained results.

All articles received by the editorial board are reviewed in accordance with the reviewing procedure. An obligatory condition for publication is the verification of materials through the "Antiplagiat" system. Review can be provided to the author by his request without the reviewer's name.

The editorial board has the right to refuse publication of the article on the basis of the results of the review, inconsistency of the article's material with the subject matter of the journal, and also if the quality of the presented materials is unsatisfactory.

The editorial board in its activity is guided by the principles of journal ethics. The journal publishes only original articles, which are not under simultaneous consideration by another journal. Each submitted article should include the license agreement by the first author that the article has not been published previously or submitted elsewhere for review and a copyright transfer. Acceptance of the papers for publication is performed continuously. All submitted materials must be technically prepared in accordance with the Author guidelines.

The journal maintains a policy of open access to published material, for the use of which the fee is not charged. Use of journal materials for commercial purposes is not allowed. The published articles can be found on the journal's website, on the e-library website, on the platforms of electronic libraries and international databases. Publication of papers is free of charge for the authors. Peer review is not paid.

All the articles are published in the journal under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
